In this tutorial, I show you step by step how to curve your UI in After Effects.
This tutorial will let you add your UI to any curved screen in After Effects.
We’ll be covering the ‘Bezier’ effect, which gives you handles and anchor points to fully control your layer. I’ll be taking a PSD that I created with a matte drawn with the pen tool to mask out the subtle rounded corners in the UI. The steps I will be covering include:
1. Review the design setup in Photoshop
2. Import the curved device into After Effects
3. Import UI animation
4. Apply Bezier effect
5. Edit handles
6. Apply matte
